The challenge
Up to a dozen tuk tuks on the street, bookings arriving from GetYourGuide, Viator, Klook and direct sales, guides paid on commission, and everything managed in spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups. Nobody knew the day's revenue until someone added it up by hand, days later.
What we built

One operations dashboard
A PostgreSQL database on a private server as the single source of truth, with a management view of bookings, guides, vehicles, revenue and expenses.

A guide app on the phone
Guides submit working days, open and close their day, register street sales, run the vehicle checklist and photograph receipts. Installed from the browser, no app store.

A WhatsApp bot for the team
Reminds guides to submit availability, asks them to start and close the day, posts the revenue after each tour and a daily report.

Automated billing
The tours of every guide are written daily to the billing spreadsheet with the commission formulas the accountant already uses. Receipts are read by OCR and added to the expenses line.

Calendar sync from four platforms
Bookings, changes and cancellations from the sales platforms land in one calendar, with overbooking handled automatically.
